I still haven't had any communication regarding my medical being booked or any start dates given. I contacted the on boarding team who confirmed I'm still on a waiting list for this. Anyone else in my position ?

I have been emailed today for the document verification like proof of address, Right to work and N.I number.

I was not communicated yet on Medical tests. Regarding training dates, I am also on waiting list and were told they would be in touch in due course once they have the dates available.

Any idea what I can expect after my document verification? Were you called for the doc verification as well?

I have received an email today for the document verification like proof of address, NI number and Right to work.
I haven’t heard anything regarding my medical tests yet.

Regarding start date, I was told that they’d be in touch in due course as the dates become available.

Any idea asto what happens after the document verification? Were you also called upon document check ?

Yeah I'm also on the waiting list. They said as soon as they get info on more start dates they'll be in touch.

Got a call today saying there were only two more courses with space on. December 9th and then January 20th.

Likely to be a waiting list until mid next year if not in these two is what I was told.

No, this was particularly TfL onboarding themselves.

I did my medical a while ago (before the others on this thread it would seem) and cleared it fine. I’ll be on one of the two courses myself.

My screening also took a while. I had a reference take a while, and then after it was got, it seemed to take a while to send onwards to TfL.

I’ve also been told seperately that there are 8 per course, so minus me, I’d imagine only 15 more spaces and otherwise it will be the waiting list for next year.

hey, speculative, but has anyone any information internally, or experience from previous time, about strikes clashing with training. i’m due to be on the w/c 4th nov rco cohort, but strikes are currently looking likely, and wondering if anyone had any insight as to the likelihood of the course to run, be postponed, etc.

Now I have to go back to Stratford because my proof of address is outdated, so my screening is not even completed yet.

Onboarding says the December and January courses are full. Has anyone started the course already? Any updates?

Hey there! Sad to know that December and January course start dates are full But I never heard anything as such. They didn’t confirm me anything about the course start dates yet. I was hoping atleast by December or January there would be start dates. Who did you check this information with? Are you sure it is for RCO related ? Because when I spoke to them, they told me something about other positions being filled with start dates But did not comment about RCO. They’re still waiting on the business to come back to them with new dates.

I am done with my Reed screening and waiting for Medical test dates which I presume would be given only when they have some information about the course start dates.

I’ve luckily made it onto the December intake. When Guilia contacted me about my start date, at the time there was spaces available for January, not sure how many were available though.

Reed screening can be a bit of pain, but I did get my start date before it was completed. Hopefully you won’t have to wait too long into next year to start

I’m booked in for OH medical assessment tomorrow for RCO. Is there anything that I need to be mindful about?

I do not have a photo copy of the email or the print, I got this appointment early at 8:45, is there something that I need to bother about? What documents would they look out for which may impact the assessment? I have a passport and licence.

Also, I had lasik vision correction surgery for long sightedness, will this impact the assessment too?


Please suggest.

I don’t have a start date also, I know that once you have your medical done you have to start within 3 months. Hopefully I will be called for it soon too.
I was told that the training is in Ashfield House.

I don’t think this is right. My medical will have been done over 3 months before my start date and nothings been said about that.

You are probably right. Recruitment told me this, I try to believe in them, it helps keep my hopes up about starting soon.

Hi All,
To those that are waiting I believe the last intake is February. Then after that those who haven’t made it onto the February one will be on a waiting list. So when people leave the role etc then they can backfill from those on waiting list. Hope that helps
