I've evidently chosen somewhere too obscure, so:
The train started its journey on a route that is still served, though infrequently; the next section is summer-weekend-only; the third now has a very much better weekend service, but the terminus it has reached is no longer served regularly.

Well done - correct!
The 670s are gone, sadly (though upstairs on a sunny day they were like a bouncy sauna!), and the East-West route from Parchim to Malchow lost its all-year service some years ago. ISTR Krakow gets the occasional special but I'm not up-to-date.

Wow, you're absolutely right. It is indeed Kuala Lumpur station. I had incorrectly recorded the location of my photo as being KL Sentral station. Thanks for putting me right, and my apologies to all.

The platform numbers (eg 4 and 5) aren’t the usual Italian style of being in a circle. Not much else to go on, unless your “humble” was a clue. Stumped.
