Hi all,

This is probably an unusual request:

I’m currently away from the UK, returning on Friday morning. I see that the very elusive 88010 “Aurora” is on the Tesco Train (4L48 Daventry-Tilbury). Just my luck it should be while I’m away! But does anyone know whether it’s likely to stay on the circuit until Friday? I can’t see any Daventry-Crewe STP light engine moves yet, is that a good sign? Thanks!

It makes a marked difference to when they passed me last Thursday (photos are near top of this page of my thread)

Latest news : Train not leaving today owing to a guaging restriction on Class 50's between Aldershot & Aldershot North Jct.

There was an issue with the paperwork which once is sorted out, should allow the train to run under restrictions.

Thanks for the insight. Curious about that. The Hoovers ran the same route last Thursday. I wonder if the gauging issue is only specific to the actual running line they'll run along.

At around 1530 something (3 car, TfW livery) left Crewe on the Chester line. I don't think it was the 1521 Crewe-Chester which left pretty much to time and it didn't look like a 197 - I saw it through vegetation so didn't get a clear view.
