Struggling with this vote to be honest, all entries could be a winner. Although I finally narrowed down my choices to 4 and 7. Went for 7 in the end.

I don't see anything wrong with #11, it's a nice shot even if it didn't go according to plan.

It'll have to be number 6 for me: For reasons unknown, over the years I seem to have been granted the misfortune for photos of class 37s to take late, ending up exactly as in this example. I considered entering a similar shot of my own for this competition.

I'm sure everybody has had a "déjà vu" moment looking at these. In my case, been there, done that, got the photo for most of these scenarios; but, as previously stated, I bin all the real "whoopsies" or don't bother scanning them if on negatives.

I find No. 13 hilarious - all set up, camera perched on something ready for 'THE SHOT' and the shutter stays open too long... so we see a nice departing tail light instead of a train

No. 3 is actually quite a good 'arty' shot, and No. 4 is also quite amusing.

No. 13 for me though.

Well done to all of you who swallowed your pride and entered. Made me chuckle because the same things befell me back in the '80s and early 90's. Except that my 'oops' slides were foolishly consigned to the bin...

I forgot about this and didn't get round to entering :cry: If I could have accessed my camera, which I couldn't, I had a panoramic shot of two 357s at the SRY buffers [i.e. home] that went horribly wrong and resulted in the two merging! I also had a back-up, which was a pair of D stock units at East Putney with awful glare on them. But I don't suppose it would have done too well. Mine never do

Its difficult to judge this one - so many are actually really good shots in themselves, even if they didn't come out as intended.

4 is quite funny I have to say - the HST does a disappearing act - its like a kid trying to hide!
I also like 13 - would quite like to get a shot like that myself.
However, I've gone for 3 this week - love the effect that has been achieved, even if it wasn't the desired one and it is very artistic

The "member of staff" being me, I never vote these days so I can place the casting vote if required for a draw.

I am not going to reveal how to do it - but I know who I am voting for when I vote, none the less I do not include this info in any of my votes.

I know many other people have stumbled across it.

I really don't think anyone should base their decision on who's pic it is.
