I've heard end of October too. But I've also heard some 175/1s have booked workings until at least the December timetable change so I guess time will tell!

Indeed, and I'm now very glad I did the 175/0+175/1 pairing that I had some weeks back from Cwmbran. The news of 175116 leaving saddens me a bit, as my connection to that one was that it was my very first MU to clear for 1,000 miles. I don't think anything else has ever beaten it yet!

Thanks for posting. I see 0536 Swansea-Manchester etc is officially booked a 175 now rather than a Sprinter.

I expect during the blockade most of the 175s will be in the South doing West Wales to Hereford.

It will be interesting to see what they do because Canton dont maintain 175s. It would be better to have them working the North side Manchester services.

But also a 197 is of less use down south so send them for maintenance and have a few units that can last in South over the blockade.

With the Cambrian block, there'll be a few 158's freed up that Canton can maintain. I can see the 15x fleet covering South workings, maybe a mk4 or two as well.
