We next board the 2114 Lothian Buses service 16 to Granton (the bus stop opposite Pennywell Cottages on West Granton Road) that arrives there at 2204 on Saturday evening.
There are those of us who like to use the bus services to explore other areas on Britain. When we were in Chatham Waterfront Bus Station, I had a bus journey planned on the Nu-Venture service 113, but half way through typing out my intended posting, another posting appeared that involved walking from the bus station we were at to the railway station to take a train miles away to Mill Hill Broadway.I must admit I am absolutely flabbergasted at the fact that we have travelled from Chatham to Mill Hill, and then all the way back to Rochester (one stop before Chatham), on a painfully slow Thameslink stopping service that has in total taken us four hours to essentially travel three minutes between two stations right next to each other....
