Dont do it. im not even giving you times cos its daft. You would have to be an absolute nut case to consider it. As you will see if someone else gives you times for Aston and back. Im Lets just say its either a 1 min change at Aston, or a 2min change at [stn]BHM[/stn]

If he headed to Aston, all he needs is the train to be 2 late, and he has to wait 20 mins at Aston. This gives him 2mins at [stn]BHM[/stn].

no way!! im sticking to my guns. no leaving bhm new street. yes i dont mind tight connections, but i had an alternative if i missed the a+b train. i dont have an alternative just a 3 mile walk

On a more serious note, is your ALR still valid on friday, which happens to be Comic Relief Day? Surely we could set you a challenge with some nice tight connections

Ashchurch for Tewkesbury. the first train i cant get a bus for on Friday is the 0703 towards Cheltenham, or 0729 towards birmingham new street. but on the ALR. I cannot get off at BHM!!

I was unintentional. Arrived on New Years Day for a train that was cancelled, despite checking it should have been running. If the plan was as it should have been it was 39 minutes. The choices were:

Miss you last piece of passenger track excluding new build

Miss Alloa last piece of new build track in Scotland

Do both miss 37 milage at Bo'ness

Try and do all three with 9 minutes across town.

Made it though.
