Interesting to see that while 20876 has lost engine, gearbox and possibly other parts, it has retained its LED and retrimmed seats.

I hope it doesn't stay that way for long!

Lets hope they strip it before it goes. The LED could go into a MAN lol. I wonder if the one in 22809 is the one from 20463...

Also if we do lose the B10Bs when ME's E300s turn up that's 3 more LEDs spare so they could be stuck into MANs. Still not sure how many we stand to lose!

Also just to clarify in relation to the fleet changes posted when a bus is marked as reserve it doesn't mean it has been withdrawn. It is often the case that a bus is on reserve but still used in everyday service. So for example 47018 has not been withdrawn at BA it has been put on reserve which could mean its gone for paint or something else. I could still be used in everyday service.

That's nowt! According to Google Map Northside Bridge is still standing!

You've got a point there!
You can still go over it using the Google Streetview tool as well XD
Think Google need to visit Workington again... it has somewhat changed over the last 2 years

Solo's 47755, 47758 and 47759 have transferred to Fife.
47760 is also up in Fife now also.
47758 is still listed as North West Reserve, but I assume it has joined the rest of the ex-PB's up in Scotland(?)

34215 will be coming onto the Lillyhall fleet properly in April, when the short Workington - Cockermouth X5 should be starting. All X4 journeys should be running as X5's from April. Lillyhall are trying to get some Scania's for it, but they don't want the double deckers doing the X4 route, so it will be all X5 changing to X50 at Penrith

Where is Carnfort ?, another spelling mistake ?

Better then it being spelt Carnford like it is on the booking form in the Travellers 2011 Holiday brochure.

Hoping the H at the end or Carnforth is missing because of the angle of the picture lol!

I have lost count, how many times i have passed Volvo Olympains going the opposite way showing Wennington 8C, when I am the driver of the 8C.

So far Scanias will not be coming this order unless they are added on later on in the year. It is possible that Lillyhall get second hand deckers, the obvious answer would be deckers from KL, but we already have a million uses for them lol. It could just be that they are getting rid of the X4 well in advance in preparation for deckers.

Just realised that the bottom line on the LED IN 22809 will be on scroll so that's why the H is missing. Duh!

Iv'e noticed You've put "And what will happen to the profiles???" as your signature. They will stay on the X5 with the rumoured scanias, the X4 branding on them will probaly be removed and it will have TransCumbria X5 branding that's my awnser anyway. Someone else might know what's happening.

Erm not sure about that. If Scanias are brought in they will most probably replace the Profiles as they want to make the X5 a decker service. Don't think the X4 will be coming back. I imagine that if Carlisle don't take the Profiles they will be transferred out of region.

Had a ride round West Cumbria today starting with the 0900 Carlisle to Keswick 554. Is 16397 ALWAYS on that service? It always is when I see it.

In Keswick 18359 had broken down on the 1025 depature to Lancaster - it wouldn't start. A few grumbling passengers.

A very good load on the 1025 Seatoller [about 60 I would say], but he was a little late in and with that many to load, he was very late out [about 12 minutes].

Then went to Workington for an hour where I managed photo's of 16184, 16447 & 16870. I then rode to Whitehaven on the ex Maynes decker on the short 300's.

20907 was my chariot back to Carlisle on the 600. Very, very quiet journey.

16397 is pretty much always on the 554 yes. If its not available for what ever reason you will normally get 20451! As for the 78 being late, I have neve been to Keswick when it has operated on time.

If Scanias were to go on the X4/X5 I would happily take 2 Volvo Coaches for the 685.....

14210 going strong still. I am told it is still in fantastic condition.

The 554 service requires a taco fitted bus so it is normaly 16397, sometimes 16355 will apear if it is off for some reason but this is normaly at Penrith, thats why a B10 stands in.

The problem with putting on 'newer' buses on the
685, as discussed with Cainebj a while back is that Arriva have their terrible Prima's. In order for Stagecoach to put newer coaches on the route, it would be down to Arriva updating their vehicles on the route also - which being Arriva, they arnt

I couldn't see the Profiles staying at LL if we get Deckers for the Transcumbria route.

PVR card attached.
Preston's is looking a little better

The 1943 301 to Carlisle left Workington at almost 1955. It was 15683.

There are no double deckers new or old coming for the X5/X50 service, the B7R coaches are staying
The X4 is being withdrawn due to very low passenger numbers on the Castle Inn side of the lake, no other reason.

Quite a shame really, X4 is rather scenic
We'll keep dreaming for LF Deckers on X5/X50! Capacity would certainly be extremely useful over peak summer. Only so many times they'd manage to get away with exceeding the 51 seated 0 standees!

Stagecoach can put what ever they want on the 685, it has nothing to do with what Arriva are using! They can advertise there journeys as wheelchair accessible and use the B7's if they wanted to. The 685 is not due for an upgrade this year by Arriva I am affraid. The order for buses has been finalised and they all been allocated routes. The refurbishment program has also been finalised and the Coaches are not on it this time. Sister to the ones that Jesmond use on the 685, Darlington got 5 refurbished ones and they look pretty fantastic compared to the worn ones on the 685. Omnicities were coming for the 685 but the Hexham depot manager said they would be too small and they were turned away!

Apparently Kendal's Scania E400's for 555 are going to be coach seated. Wonder how long the seats will last when they end up on schools
