Plan as it stands is the Holyhead-Cardiff to run this week using the original diagrams

HD01 and 05 should be released from SDO fitting to make it to Canton and Crewe respective over the course of this week.

HD07 will move to Holyhead using the path above but that's now postponed until 2nd Jan due to Crew availability

I don't understand this - today is 17th. December. Did you mean 9th. January or am I completely missing something obvious? Thank you!

What’s up with HD04? Seems to do a lot of testing Cardiff area recently isn’t that ready yet?

Nothing as far as I'm aware. It should be in service next week along with HD06 on the 2 Holyhead-Cardiff diagrams next week.
They were the 2 SDO training rakes, 04 in the South and 06 in the North

Nope, see post #1737, 9th Jan is planned introduction for the first Manchester diagram.
Still waiting for HD01,02,03,05,07 and 08 to be released from SDO fitting (or even going to the works in 03s case) so only 2 sets are currently available.
These should enter service tomorrow HD04 on 6:48 Cardiff-Holyhead-Cardiff-Holyhead and HD06 ecs to 7:16 Chester then Chester-Cardiff-Holyhead-Cardiff.

Edit. 13:16 off Chester to Cardiff and 17:16 Cardiff-Holyhead now planned for HD06.

Doesn't that put 2xMk4 sets at Chester to operate the 1316 to Cardiff (1V96)?

The inward working of 1V96 was a pair of 153s.
It has however changed again. 1v96 is a pair

All changed again!!! W93 was supposed to restart at Chester with HD06, subsequently cancelled and run ecs. 1714 off Cardiff is meant to be now another set off Canton to get 1 in Holyhead and 1 in Cardiff for the morning.

17.14 has left now 67022 HD04. 59 late at Shrewsbury. First day in passenger service for both 022 and the set. Good news for things to come!

DVT 82206 is TfW owned as well, I believe, but only as a spares donor - I don't think it's expected to turn a wheel in service, same as 12229 and 10307.

01 is back in canton, no idea which 67 was on though

Ah, I see what's happened. V96 cancelled from Chester due to a fatality. If diagram had continued then HD04 would have been in the right place. V98 will be started from Chester with HD04 according to RTT.
