Well done to those who got through to the next round. Re: comments on how they are allocating assessment days and whether got through, I did my 2nd round of OPC tests at home on Sunday (I had until today but have been working). Did those of you who got through do your tests much earlier?
I did mine Sunday as well.

I did mine on Monday night. The deadline to complete them has only just passed though so don’t give up hope. With 3 weeks of assessments I’m sure there’s plenty more still to hear.

Don't give up hope mate, theirs 3 weeks worth of assessment centre testing so you may get some good news.
Just had an email through saying I’ve been successful. Anybody know if this is just the opc assessments or is there a interview also?

Hi guys, I’ve applied myself and did all the psychometric tests on Sunday. Keeping my fingers crossed for good news! Is anyone willing to give anything away regarding the VSE and M7 tests? I’m just wondering what they entail as I don’t have a clue atm! Thanks, and good luck everyone ✌

Well done mate, big sigh of relief I bet.
Yes and a touch surprised. I was sort of hoping the VSE on the 3rd section would allow for some mistakes. Now just to practice for next week. Thursday I’m in.

If you Google the 2 assessments that’s pretty much what they were online. I’m not sure how the score the M7.

Good luck with the next stage! Ive found plenty of info on the VSE online but I’m struggling to find much on the M7 test.

The M7 is just situational judgement, from researching on here it's pretty much as everyone suggests and that you can't really prepare for it. Read the passage and put the 4 answers in order of preference 1st to last.

I honestly didn't practice it as it's down to an individuals characteristics and the answers 'should' be how you would deal with a situation personally. Apparently how you answer can be used in interview as well so best to answer honestly and if/when you are asked at interview stage, it should be a natural answer rather than one you think they want to hear.

I've also read a lot on here that it's not a pass or fail test, just for the TOC to see what kind of individual you are. Take that how you want though, it's obviously there for a reason but go in to it with an open and honest mind and handle each situation how you would in your every day life. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Yeah the M7 is impossible to really prepare for as it’s ultimately a personality test. Loads of examples of them online but none with the ‘correct’ answers listed as there aren’t any right or wrong answers as such, it all depends on what personality type the employer is looking for. I just answered honestly on mine.

Hi everyone, new to the forum just came across this thread so signed up!
I'm also through to the next stage at South sheilds, I'm there Wednesday morning any one else off here then?

I'm very excited but also very nervous, this is a massive opportunity abd congratulations to everyone who's got this far!

Does Any one know if we will be asked any interview style questions at this stage at all?
I am preparing for the psychometric side of things using the provided paper work but don't know what to expect interview wise.

I've been told I didn't progress. I'll carry on applying for driver jobs as it's valuable practice.

Interestingly the nature of my current job means, anyone successfully passing the assessments and starting their training will inevitably end up talking to me at some point.

All the best all who have got through. You'll all be fine looking at the knowledge you've all been sharing on here.

Hard luck mate. I’m still waiting on a reply to see if I passed the first round of tests. Can I ask how long it took for you to find out? Best of luck in the future!

I've noticed that some people are being asked to come for the assessments in the afternoon ? does that mean its probably just the tests they've mentioned that we will be doing and not the full day computer tests with interview etc?

I emailed them asking, and was told if your successful at this stage you will then be asked to come back at a later date for computer tests & MMI Interview. Hope this helps.

Cheers, originally put a half day in at work so that’s perfect.

Managed to pass the first test stage and have just completed the M7 and VSE. You weren’t kidding when you said the VSE got trickier in round 3 think I did ok. Made maybe 4 wrong clicks and timed out on 1 or 2 of the symbols. Think I did pretty well on the track part though. Fingers crossed and good luck to all those who have already made it through!

I’ve just received an email saying I’ve passed the tests and my application is in an applicant pool and I will hear back from them in a couple of weeks regarding the next stage. This obviously doesn’t match up with the previous email which said the next tests would be well comm 29th aug and 5 sept. Has anyone else had something similar?

That's different... Maybe they have the required amount for the current testing that started today (done my 1st lot of testing at the Nexus training center this afternoon) and they will wait to see how everyone gets on before pulling in more people.

The OPC guy today said it will take a week to 10 days for the tests to be marked and uploaded to the central system and also for the candidates to find out results, so a bit of a waiting game for everyone unfortunately.

How did you find them? first time doing psychometrics for me. I'm actually enjoying the practice to be honest and getting the brain ticking.
