I've managed to find it on YouTube... after quite a lot of searching! The bloke in it does look fairly old. He's 81 now, maybe a bit old for that!

I was quite amused one day when that advert followed another which was advertising a plant-based product!I've managed to find it on YouTube... after quite a lot of searching! The bloke in it does look fairly old.
No, having compared as best I can, I don't think it's Eric. The noses are different and the hairline is a different shape. Actually the chap in the ad looks like Kevin McCloud in 20 (or maybe 10!) years time.I was quite amused one day when that advert followed another which was advertising a plant-based product!
I suppose if they ran that today they’d need a caption explaining that they don’t actually burn any worms…Glow Worm. Not a annoying advert in itself,it’s just annoying that I cannot find any details of its excellent music anywhere. Any ideas?
It was today, I’ve been trying to find what the music is for monthsI suppose if they ran that today they’d need a caption explaining that they don’t actually burn any worms…![]()
on the other hand if the obnoxious family depicted in the "on the beach" advert is the target then theres no way I would ever book through that company. Can I nominate the Jet2 adverts both on TV and online? They open with a heavily processed female voice singing "Darling hold my hand!"... which I assume is supposed to hint at romance and pleasure, but due to the frantic and sudden way this vocal line comes in, makes me think this poor woman must be dangling over a precipice whilst clinging on to a slowly disintegrating tree root!
All car adverts annoy me. They make driving look really cool, in reality it's nothing like the ads portray , in respect of traffic jams, roadworks. endless queues etcCar adverts shown in the UK where the car is a left hand drive, and the car is shown driving on the right hand side of the road.

Also car adverts (or car scenes in TV/Films) where the driver spends over 10 seconds looking at someone in the backseat/passenger seat without so much as glancing out the windscreen. All car adverts annoy me. It isn't real!!Any adverts that show people able to levitate. I can't remember the most recent company one, but it showed a girl in a queue suddenly levitating upwards, smashing her way through the ceiling point of a glass cupola and being totally unaffected by gravity.
Showers large shards of glass on the people below. Bound to have been injuries.Any adverts that show people able to levitate. It most certainly is in the mindset of the advertising agency copywriters. It isn't real!!
We buy any car.
Fed up with Scofield s face on the telly, the advert is also on the radio.
With all that he does, how much more money does the greedy git need?
Best keep it that way! Intellectual hi-light was playing second fiddle to Gordon The Gopher.Who's Philip Schofield?![]()
Adverts that have people jumping around doing stupid dances. Wren Kitchens is the latest irritant.
I know the advert you're referring to, dancing in adverts seems to be the go to cliche for advertisers to have people show how happy their product or service makes them.I can't think of the name of the company in the advert, but it shows students in an examination room and suddenly, one male idiot starts jumping around, disrupting the other students, In real life, what fate might have befallen the individual in question?
I lose all respect for any famous face who appears on betting adverts. There's just no need.Verisure alarms are annoying and laughably amateurishly acted.
Then there's the Octosmart ads that seem to last longer than the program they interrupt.

That's another gripe of mine. Exceptionally well off personalities doing ads when there's other actors crying out for work. I assume some companies think that a well known personality gives some validity to their product.
Remember what was once said about the removal of TV adverts (and other media) some years ago in an attempt to cut down cigarette addiction levels of the young who are prone to advertising, yet despite sanctions being imposed on certain gaming machines in bookmaker shops, it seems the powers-that-be see nothing wrong with the TV adverts specifically aimed at women for online bingo and gaming adverts that blithely state "deposit £20".I lose all respect for any famous face who appears on betting adverts. There's just no need.
