September? Doesn’t the service start in October? Doesn’t leave very long for training up a safety critical “Guard”, complete with route knowledge KGX-EDB
This was touched In the assessment..their timeline makes sense (I hope). But not all the trains are built yet, I believe a staggered start till all 5 trains are ready.

I know I’m not sure what or why they are saying next week to some and some are being told the same day apparently September 6th is full now too ;(

so i sent them this the other day:
I wonder if you can give some advice. I had my interview yesterday at 5:45.
However I know someone that has been successful at getting the job, but they received there phone call at 4pm yesterday.
I’m just wondering how this happened if all interviews has not even taken place,
and this is the reply I got : There are several positions available for this vacancy and this is why offers have been issued following Interviews. It does not mean you will not be offered a position for this vacancy.
I really wouldn't look too much into it.
Some people may have no notice period or a job at the moment, so it would streamline things.
If was told i'd have to wait a week, but got the call nearly two weeks later. Railway recruitment is the most bizzare thing in the world.

No I totally understand that, i think its just the fact some people had been offered the role when they hadnt finished interviewing. most places will wait until all interviews have taken place before telling people if they are successful
Hey so just 7 jobs ? I thought there was 50 I’m so confused:/

they have just rang me about 20 mins ago, but missed the call as im still at work. ive tried calling her back but no answer

@Excrew was Monday just gone, so medical in sept and start date if that goes ok is October 25th

Been reading this forum over last few days, and have been offered a conditional offer on basis of passing medical. I have a start date of Mid-Late October.
