For starters the passengers numbers will lower no matter what, because a few people brought cheaper day riders on the 63 via Lothian. That will no longer be the case.

Quite sad to hear but i can't say i'm surprised. I did say i could see investment in the heritage fleet being cut back when Hall left, and that was prior to the pandemic. Just hope some of the older vehicles aren't lost as it would be a real shame. Hopefully 112 can provide service for many more years to come, Pulham's are a good firm so i'm sure it'll be looked after.

Good luck to First Bus.
366 had been heavily stripped, ready for rebuilding, when work was stopped. Lothian did try to sell it on (as a stripped shell) but there were no takers.

I would not be surprised to see the Routemasters sold onto new homes, given they have historically commanded good prices on the open market. A lot of work was done to the retained examples under the Hall era, on vehicles which weren't new to Edinburgh and weren't promoted as such.

As far as I'm aware the only confirmed news is that they'll be singles. So no, not really.
77 is now showing on the finlaysmith tracker at central.
If this is one of the new buses, it looks like that Lothian have changed back to taking up older numbers now that Hall has left.

Which is a good thing. The only vehicles in my view that make sense to be in the thousands are subsidiary vehicles and the XLB’s.
Do we know the exact amount of singles due in this batch?

ah finally. had to cut good nights out short due to tge lack of any night buses. id have thought atleast an hourly skeleton Night service when the lockdown was eased

That's not a surprise, you should've seen some of the comments on social media from the usual suspects crying about the 20/63 moving away. They're only bus routes!

Good to see further improvements and reintroductions. The 47B is an interesting little tidbit, been a while since we've had a route with a letter suffix. 3A or 44A was the last?
No chances to ECB services this time around? They were pretty much up to full speed anyway as it was but would have at least expected the N113 to return?

Disappointed to see no N14, it along with the weekend only N49 seems to be the only ones not being introduced.
I understand there was significant lobbying from the hospitality sector (among others) about staff being unable to get home after the last 'normal' buses finishing. Hopefully they'll make use of them now they're back.

It'll be interesting to see if demand matches up or if Lothian have just fallen for a silent minority, as is often this case in this sort of situation.
