Who spotted 21005 out on the road today then? If you did, then thats the first to be reinstated into service.

It arrive at the bus stn abt 1045, then worked 1115 to Brookhouse.

Yeah 16665 is away. S reg's Tridents could be off or B10's.

Was 21005 been in service just a one off because they were desperate?

I think its because they are getting desperate, with 14204 being dislicenced, 16665 is away for refurb, and 17024 off with accident damage.

All other deckers, have been seen in service in the last three days.

47007 is having some mechanical attention I reckon (a la 47157 - it's probably awaiting a new engine)

14204 went straight onto disposal out of service! I can't believe Stagecoach were/are so keen to get rid of it!

What happened to 17024?Was it the decker that was involved with the student accident? Hopefully they will do some other work on it to...

Had 17023 just now on the 2a and it didn't sound all that healthy. Struggled when accelerating and was hissing and whining. Ride was awful to lol.

Glad 14204 is getting a new home!

so, now for my rant!
why the h*ll are Stagecoach wasting diesel, sending buses down to the footbridge on staff shuttle, as well as the fiesta van, when they are following one of the 7 service buses an hour down there!!!!! today, the fiesta van went down, followed by 22609, which was followed by 47023! the 3 of them were pretty much together!!! no more than a few seconds between them!!!
its just like the 30S service! pointless!
as is the 37! yet again, the 37 had no passengers when i saw it!

Drivers use the van as they need to be at the bridge at scheduled times.

The 101 operates because of delays caused by roadworks on the service 30/31 routes, the running of this service maintains a regular service to the footbridge for passengers.

The 37 was put in place to give stagecoach customers who could not access the train or unable to cross the footbridge due to disabilities a link between Workington and Maryport, this has as you say not been used a lot and is being withdrawn at Easter.

The 30S operates as Stagecoach have a contract to carry students from the rail stn to college, this gives the required link to the bus station

Hope you enjoyed your rant.

*sigh*

If 18357 hadn't been delayed with a door fault (holding bolt slacking almost completely off and a constant air leak), I would've seen A33MRN...

Fitters were requested to attend 18357 either at Lancaster or Kendal.

Ohhh bad luck! Really glad I got to see it in action! Looked great on the move! Funnily enough the driver didn't use the bus lane and chose instead to stand in traffic lol.

Does Stagecoach have a website with deatils of buses that have being withdrawn and are For Sale available for members of the public to access, or is this something that is kept within the bus industry?

I'm split between us loosing S reg Tridents or Olys. The Tridents would be much better if they had a lot of work done on them I think. And then theres the niggling feeling in my heas that ME would sooner keep low floor deckers then step entrance ones. But I really don't know theres a good case for both...

Solos sounds about right so that will be the three I assume so does that mean we were wrong about the E400's lol?

Is the PB training bus there to stay Jonesy or just a flying visit?

47007 on 50.
47005 and 47061 on Harrington and 101. didn't see 3rd bus.
20753 was on annexe, dead bright tech, paper stuck to windscreen with "85" on. 85 hasn't been in existance for a number of years!
a Vario went past Maryport Rail Station on 58 at approx 1500.
35249 on Maryport 30.
20790 on 100 again.

20436 and 20776 on Schools on north of river.

20761 on LL operated 300.
20904 on CE operated 300.

16337 was at Carlisle bus station with "Carlisle Races" on bright tech.
42090 on 71 and 101.
34048 on short 685.
52626 and 52627 on full 685.
52408 on 600.
freshly painted 52409 left the depot with "School Services" on LED at around half 1.
52405 was flying around too.
20908 and 20966 were on 66. 20966 then went onto 93.
Paladin 20994 left the depot around half 1, with Sandsfield Park 60 on flip dots.
a Citi Dart on 95, and a Citi Dart on 38. think it was 34715 on 95 and 34687 on 38, but not too sure at min! i got pics of them though.

14207 was parked up in the dead lane at Carlisle depot. along with a Vario, and an open top Volvo Oly.
a freshly painted 16353 was sat at the front of the big shed.
a dead 16330 was down the back of the depot, recieving attention from a fitter.
14254 was also down the back.
14235 and 14265 were sat outside the big shed. 14265 had School Service on display.

A flying visit there was about 4 training buses in the yard today from 3 depots(2 from deepdale and selborne street and 1 from kendal) including ours.
I think the volvo and leyland olys will go leaving just the B10`s as the only step entrance buses left in the fleet.

Yeah we will have to see I suppose. Mbonwick made a good point on the subject actually. They have done all the Olys, repainted them fitted them with LED's and done the seats and its been done very quickly where as the Tridents are just getting bits here and there. I would guess that its harder to keep a Trident off the road for very long or something...

And of course it wont be all the Olys some will still be left.

as i've said to a few people, it'd leave Lillyhall with 10 "mini's" to cover the 12 / 13 needed! better have some new stuff coming in!
