Yeah, could do with an increased frequency on a Sunday. Also, the Workington/Whitehaven 30's need larger buses on a Sunday! I wouldn't fancy standing on a Solo!

Some are, some aren't. I haven't been around to see them for a while either, been avoiding the bus station.
Although, some of the runs on the Whitehaven/Thornhill 30's where quite busy when I was in Whitehaven last Sunday. Back to 6Form tomorrow... Hello Keswick Bus Station!

Getting sick of some of the drivers (one in particular!). Moreover, it's just the same buses all the time! Hence this weeks trip out to Barrow and Kendal... Still haven't put the BA pics on Flickr :roll: I'll get round to it

was busy texting Mr Watson at the time hahaha. updating him on the usual stuff that was around! in fact, i could tell you that at the time, i was telling him that it was 47023 on 50!
20474 on 556. This is in a right state, if it's anything to go by it's no wonder 20475/6 are listed for eventual disposal....

22827 has gained a screen on the passenger side of the drivers partition. Wasn't switched on, so I've no idea what its for, not CCTV as it isn't fitted. Will upload a pic later.

The screen has been there for years. I believe it was part of a University project of some kind that didn't work out. They should use it for advertising!!!

Always seemed like quite a decent bus did that! Not sure about it being a MAN though, I always thought it was a DAF?

It usually sounds pretty awful :roll: Guessing they'll be covering the route with one of their coaches then! I take it that the "new" Reays depot will just be used for the storage of a few 709s? Hopefully the Primo and Solo will see testing on the 35/36

one of Kendal's Tridents (can't remember which now, got a pic though, so will shove number / reg up later) was at Carlisle Bus Station this morning, in a fresh coat of paint. it later left in the direction of the M6.

18324/25/26/27/28/30/62/63/65/81/82 all made an appearance on the 2/2a today. Feel like I haven't seen 18375 for ages...
Noticed that one of the timetables at a stop near the Uni was valid from Jan 2009...what use is that lol.

Looks like Reays are going to put some more investment into that side of the business. Be interesting to see whether they go for the Primo or the Solo. My money is on the Primo, as he's recently got the two B7R Profiles... and they're apparently due some B12B Panthers. Due to reliability issues with the Bovas :roll: I'm still trying to pin down the location of this new depot :roll:

I Used to work in Lillyhall, for Retail Variations PLC (Past Times Gifts) over the road from LL depot, in the old Leyland Factory...
I've heard from a mate who works "next door" in Eddie Stobbarts, that a "transport" company is looking at the site when Stobbarts go up to carlisle airport Full Time....
...Coincidence Maybe??
