for the record the traction was 66145 (in drs blue but presumably now a freightliner loco) up front and 66502 "basford hall centenary 2001" on the back.

Does anyone know which class 387s are in the sidings at Reading, Maidenhead and West Ealing around now (1005) today (02/09)? Many thanks in advance.

Also, I have just seen a load (around 8) of class 800/801/802s near North Pole. Anyone know what these were?

I couldn't ID them all but I can tell you that 387133/142/148/149 are among those at Reading

PS you were right about the Royal Scotsman going to Kilmarnock yesterday. In a script that would have graced any Ealing Comedy I skillfully failed to capture it at Leuchars, Invergowrie and finally at Gleneagles. Sometimes it just aint your day....

142072 hasn't worked for nearly a year following a fire and eventually went to Wolverton for assessment. About 3 months ago it returned to Canton by road and the last I heard of it, it was parked outside Canton. So far as I'm aware it hasn't returned to traffic but we don't seem to have any Forum members who are in the know . Just have to watch this space.

I know that 325005 worked the front of this and 325007 was on the back, but I did not get the middle unit (It was a 12 car set).

Can't help with the 387s as not in work for a few days.

When I passed North Pole Saturday morning about half eight there was:
800004 nearest the main line
UID green IET behind (800003 was over at OOC so possibly an 802)
800001 & 800002 were furthest from the main line and coupled together.
On arrival at Paddington 800010 & 800013 were platformed and headed out shortly afterwards so could have ended up in NP as well.

Does anybody know when 800003 made the move to OOC or the whereabouts of the 802 units, please?

Hiya, has anyone got the second 465 that was operating 2B51 (1201 Dartford-Cannon St) today? 466021 was on the front, and 465162 was on the back; I think the middle one was 187 but I can't recall!
Also, does anyone know which 315 was working with 315820 today?

I hope I'm not too late for someone to look up the units / power cars that operated the following trains on Bank Holiday Monday 28th August 2017:

2P37 0819 Peterborough - King's Cross (a single 365) and
1C10 1030 London Paddington - Bristol Temple Meads (the front power car is what I need as I'm fairly sure it was 43168 on the rear).

You're correct about 43168 and the other one was 43034 - here's a photo of the set later that day having done a return working to Paddington from Bristol (1A18), then heading west again on 1C86 to Penzance... https://flic.kr/p/Y7hTMy (not mine)

Can't help with the 365 I'm afraid. Others might though.
