Thanks ! Would never have got it without your punctuational hint.

Get ocean insightfully right, while championing fresh-water source?

Paddington?

Ocean = PA (Pacific)
Insightfully right = 'Ding!'
While championing freshwater source = t(ea)-on?

Marked A for ingenuity, very definitely (though I don't get the t[ea]-on bit); but it isn't Paddington, I'm afraid.

I fear that in the "get...insightfully right" part, I may be alluding to an Americanism unfamiliar to many Britons (blame my spending too much time on US message boards). It's one monosyllabic word for -- as above -- "get...insightfully right".

Nailsea & Backwell?

As the Yanks say: "you've nailed it" -- summed up the issue accurately, succinctly, and with insight. (Do that with the ocean; and support and lobby for inland hole in ground from which fresh water got.)

Your floor.

I'll have another bash, if I might.

Audible reason during hard winter, for botching a crime in the hope of getting caught
