We take the five minute walk to Liverpool Lime Street station and board the 2315 Northern service to Eccles that arrives there at 0002 on Monday morning.
Deansgate station is 0.8 miles away from St Mary's Gate.
Are you referring to the St Mary's Gate near Harvey Nicholls?
Since we have no specific people acting as adjudicators in this quiz, relying instead on community agreement, I'll suggest that we dis-allow the Deansgate-Oxenholme move at post #6053 for two reasons:-
1) Deansgate railway station is well beyond the 0.5 mile walking limit.
2) The 0951 TPE departure is around 5 hours after resumption of public transport service in Manchester on Monday morning. Our normal rule is "move within 2 hours".
If others agree, I propose we continue from the Deansgate / St. Mary's Gate bus stop near Manchester Cathedral, where we arrived at 0041 early Monday morning.
After a short walk to Eccles Interchange we board the 0017 First Manchester service 100 to Manchester (Deansgate / St. Mary's Gate) arriving at 0041 early Monday morning.
We leave the railway behind and head outside and walk 3 minutes to Lockerbie Bridge Street to pick up the 07:32 Houstons Minicoaches service 381 to Lockerbie (Dryfesdale Cemetery opp) arriving there at 07:35 Monday Morning.
Finishing our "Virgin Trains Bashing" for today, we...
We next board the 0800 Stagecoach West Scotland service 81 to Crighton (D & E College) that arrives there at 0850 on Monday morning.
