Continuing this epic journey we walk to Heathrow Terminal 5 - Stop 8 and catch the 0510 First Berkshire & Thames Valley service 77 bus to Slough Bus station where we arrive at 0530 on Thursday morrning.

We then board the 0550 First Berkshire and Thames Valley service 71 to Egham, High Street, arriving at 0627 on Thursday morning.

Taking the seven minute walk to the railway station, we join the commuters on board 2C12, the 0653 South West Trains service to London Waterloo, arriving there at 0735 on Thursday morning.

We take the 0820 SWT service to Crewkerne arriving at 1048 Thursday morning

We next board the 1119 SWT service to Tisbury that arrives at 1201 on Thursday afternoon.

We then exit the station and board the 1236 Salisbury Reds service 26 to Salisbury (Fisherton Street), arriving there at 1315 on Thursday afternoon. This is a perfect connection as this bus service isn't very frequent at all!

We next board the 1359 Salisbury Reds service 2 to Market Lavington (Roman Way) that arrives there at 1453 on Thursday afternoon.

We then board the 1501 Faresaver service 87 to Devizes (Market Place), arriving there at 1520 on Thursday afternoon.

We next board the 1613 Stagecoach in Swindon service 49 to Winterbourne Bassett Turn (Northbound), arriving at 1641 on Thursday afternoon.

We enter into the railway station where we board the 1845 FGW service to Swansea that arrives at 2047 on Thursday evening.

We take the 2052 ATW departure as far as Milford Haven, arriving at 2246 Thursday evening

We then board 1E55, the 2318 Arriva Trains Wales to Carmarthen, arriving at 0016 in the early hours of Friday morning.

Back west again to Fishguard and Goodwick, leaving at 0031 and arriving at 0120 Friday morning

We next board the 0153 ATW service to Llanelli that arrives at 0325 on Friday morning

We then board 2M43, the 0452 Arriva Trains Wales service to Shrewsbury, arriving there at 0822 on Friday morning.

We next head to the area of the "Cheshire Golden Triangle" and board the 0850 ATW service to Wilmslow that arrives at 0947 on Friday morning.

We then board 1A21, the 1011 Virgin Trains service to London Euston, arriving there at 1202 on Friday afternoon.

Mindful of the 15 minute minimum connection that applies at this large station, we are fortunate to be able to board the 1217 LO service to Watford High Street that arrives there at 1300 on Friday afternoon.

We take the 1324 LO service to Harrow and Wealdstone, arriving at 1337 Friday afternoon

We then board 2O43, the 1359 Southern service to South Croydon, arriving there at 1500 on Friday afternoon.

From the stop at Ruskin Parade/South Croydon Station, we next board the 1518 Arriva London service 403 to Warlingham Sainsburys, arriving at 1538 on Friday afternoon.

After a quick coffee (assuming Sainsbury's has a coffee shop!) we cross the road and catch the Metrobus service 409 departing at 1625 and alight at Caterham Station arriving at 1651 on Friday afternoon.

We then pop into Waitrose before emerging to catch the 1720 Metrobus service 400 to Northgate Avenue Central, arriving at 1821 on Friday afternoon.

NB: The route 100 at Northgate Parade is just a 5 min walk, so if the next poster wants to use that, they can, but I'll leave it up to them. I live within 4 mins of the bus stop on Northgate Avenue.

With that in mind, we take the 5 minute walk to Northgate Parade and just make the 1829 Metrobus service 100 to Gatwick South Terminal, arriving at 1841 on Friday afternoon.

Crossing via the subway to the southbound stop we next board the 1903 Metrobus (Fastway) service 20 to Southgate Avenue South, arriving at 1918 on Friday evening.

We take a walk round the corner to Thomas Bennett School and board the 1939 Metrobus service 2 towards Ilfield Station, arriving at 2001 on Friday evening.

We next board the 2013 Metrobus service 200 to Langley Parade, arriving at 2018 on Friday evening.

Entering the station we then take the Southern train which departs at 2032 and alight at Littlehaven where we arrive at 2039 on Friday evening.
