I think you'll find that it was quite stop and start, ive been running 55002 & D6707 tonight, none of which de-railed. DCC meant it was smooth as it ran over the tracks slowly.

the trouble with forum threads is occassionally people won't convey their emotions properly. I know 960012 well enough to know he is joking when he says the things you quoted and criticised, so again I say MEH, especially at all the sad for liking 444s rubbish. I had the Hall going at some rate of knots up Piggery, i got fed up of going to slow so i wanted to see wat it was really capable of doing and i over took dad half way up, thats the day that the superheater blew and i limped back to Hardwick on 25PSI and 1/4 of a glass of water, i with that was pretty well managed espcally by my standards lol

Not at the state its in atm, the boiler is off the chassis and the wheels are not in the axle box horns and there is no montion lol, doesnt look like ill have it to play with this season

Nah, was kanckered all over, the superheater was just one of many problems

Paul appears to be taking his time and doing a dam good job, the wheels have been reprofiled and looked great!

Were have a new Vuiaduct built as the old one had rusted through! i cant wait its guan make a racket when you go over it as its all metal the track is put straight onto it so it will rattle nicely
